Session Abstract

Objectives: In this session, we will a) outline key questions for decision making on providing affordable access to novel, high-cost medicines in health systems; b) illustrate assessments of the value of medicines as a basis for decision making; and c) describe innovative reimbursement models for high-cost medicines in health systems. Through discussion with the audience, we will generate a list of questions for future research on access to new health technologies.
